Uses for Heathland...

Due to customer demand Thermoweed have developed a light weight high powered burner suitable for use behind compact tractors or all terrain vehicles.

With Phytophthora been found in some of the countries most prized parks and woodlands we were approached to develop a burner that could kill the disease and it's spores in situ. This saves the time consuming task of cutting, collecting and burning as well as reducing the risk of moving infected material. The first machine was put to work on Cannock Chase incinerating infected bilberry stands.

With an automatic ignition system and emergency cut off the driver has complete control at his fingertips the machine is light and easily manoeuvrable and has created a lot of interest for use in heather burning as part of moorland management.
